Antique Jewelry

So, I'm not much of a jewelry wearing girl. Typically, the only jewelry I choose are small, special, staple pieces. Like my rings, for instance. Before last week, two rings, one on each hand, stayed on my fingers at all time. Both were gifts from my mother. One is an antique white gold ring with a light amethyst stone (my birth stone). The other was a Christmas gift. It was a sterling silver Claddagh ring, also with an amethyst stone.

While on vacation in Tennessee last week, we visited several antique stores, for I am from one antique-loving family (and I myself love them as well). Just before we left one store I spotted a beautiful sterling silver size 5 ring with, you guessed it, an amethyst stone! I tried it on, pretended to not be totally in love, my mom and grandy insisted, and the rest is history! I replaced my Claddagh ring, on my right ring finger, with this beautiful little find.

So now my fingers are adorned with two antique amethyst rings of which I am quite proud :)

Anna, I just use templates! :P It's the lazy way to go, but I wouldn't even begin to know how to make my own..

Thank you!

Oh I don't think I can even figure out the templates! Mine took forever to put together, I'm scared to change it!
