About Me

My name is Kelli Anne. I'm just a girl from the South loving the life that God has given me. Also, I'm pretty bad at talking about my self, but I'll give it a shot. This blog is directed toward the people already in my life, because I can't imagine strangers being interested in my daily activities and thoughts, and that's all I can manage to conjure up for this blog.

Here I am! Freshly a high school graduate from a small arts high school in a charming little southern town.
Now that I have finished high school, I'm moving on to my family's most beloved school, Mississippi State. Even with our cowbell-ringing, twang-speaking reputation, MSU really is a charming, warm school filled with genuinely nice, (mostly) southern people who mean it when they ask how you're doing. :) I plan to study Anthropology. Everyone asks me what in the world I plan to do with that, and the truth is I don't really know. But everyone has always said to follow your dreams, and the moment I chose Anthropology was the moment I accepted that advice as more than just a cliche.

My sister, Katie, and I on vacation.

I am a part of a happy family of four: my daddy, Andy, my mom, Chris, my sister, Katie (3.5 years older), and myself, Kelli-Anne. My one and only sister is working on her Elementary Education degree at State, so I'm very excited to be with her my first few semesters in Starkville.

As far as my interests go, I love nature and being outside and always have. I grew up in a family that was not typically inclined towards the outdoors, but that hasn't completely stunted my love of camping, hiking, kayaking, running, etc.. I'm very much looking forward to marrying the man I hope God has for me, having a family, and practically raising them entirely outdoors. Nature is one of God's most majestic and enduring creations, and I'd like to raise children who has a real appreciation for the simple joys of nature.

Well, to have claimed to not be good at talking about myself, I think I've done plenty of just that! I hope you will learn more about me with every post. Thanks for reading!
