Tonight Scarlett and I gave some classes a try, Zumba and Yoga/Pilates. Not so fond of the Zumba class (we're under the impression that it wasn't like real Zumba), but the Yoga/Pilates class was really good, and by good, I mean tough, and by tough I mean I better have some sore glutes and abs tomorrow. It was a lot different from what I expected as for as the strengthening went. I was definitely feeling some burn, and I was even modifying on some of the poses. But overall, it was really relaxing and empowering! I'd surely be game to go back :)
Still no verdict on Saturday, but I feel certain my parents are leaning towards no :( On the bright side, I may be adding a 5k in Oxford on Feb. 26 to my prospective races list.

I LOVE yoga and pilates! I also really like spinning. I've never tried Zumba before, though ... I keep saying I'm going to try it, but I'm a creature of habit and when I find a class (like yoga) that I like, I tend to stick with it forever:)
