Good Music...

.... is often all it takes to fully restore my hope in humanity when I'm feeling down :)

And this amazing fresh band, Mumford and Sons, certainly fits the description of good music. A couple of months ago, luckily a time I was positively thirsting for new music, I had heard several people talking about a band called Mumford and Sons. This name: are they old bearded guys with aged voices? are they fun indie teens with a cute, but generic sound? orrrrr are they thoughtful, wonderful, clever, completely unique sounding, altogether musically fantastic Brits? THE THIRD! After downloading some of their songs and listening to maybe three, I was entirely hooked! It's been a long time since I have been this captivated by one band's sound so consistently and I couldn't be happier about them.

This morning as I was browsing on Anthropologie, I decided I needed their fancy music to accompany my fancy wish-i-could-buy-everything-on-this-website shopping. And as I was smiling and enjoying them it occurred to me that I have never seen these gents! Oh no.. This is never good. You know when you get really into this band or a particular radio announcer or a pen pal or blogger. Then you see them. And all your hopes and dreams and expectations of who they are have just been completely flip-flopped and reversed and you can never enjoy them again? I was absolutely terrified that I was about to experience this. But, I was soo happily surprised when I got on YouTube and found these marvelous creatures were absolutely all I had dreamed them up to be! So do enjoy my favorite Mumford and Sons song "Winter Winds" and bask in their darlingness :)
