After a month away, my dear boyfriend is home, making me a happy, happy girl. In this past two days of this school week, it feels like my life is a little more on track again :) The last week he was away, I had an awful running week (which is a very discouraging challenge with only a week left of training before your first 5k, scheduled for THIS Saturday.) These sequential bad runs really had me down, but my run yesterday was better than any I had the whole time he was gone!
I know it sounds silly, but my running was definitely kick-started. I'm still not so sure about running that 5k Saturday, though. This great run was only just over 2 miles, and as nice as it was, I just don't trust myself with 3.1 in a matter of 4 days. My run tonight will probably begin to answer the question of whether or not to participate. I suppose I just want to start off my race career with a bang! :)
Besides my incredibly athletic boyfriend and visions of cellulite and clogged arteries, one of my strongest motivators to stay fit is (don't laugh) all of the SUPER cute athletic clothes out there. In part because they fit the subject of this post and in part because I need to practice posting pictures, I decided to include some of my most desired fitness apparel. Something tells me a simple change of tank top could push me that extra mile if it were cute enough ;) Enjoy!

Too cool, right? Plus anything Livestrong makes me feel like Lance Armstrong ;) |

Talk about motivation! How could you not push harder with the Ironman logo across your chest?! |

Cute, cute, cute! :) |
