Introducing Mr. Murphy Purrkins!

I have much to apologize for, my dear few readers. I have neglected my blog this week, but I am pleased to announce that I am now officially out of school for an entire week! :) I would like to dedicate this blog post to a very special man in my life who goes by the name of Mr. Murphy Purrkins!

This little fella was born in July of this year to a lovely little lady belonging to dear family friends of ours. My sister was nannying their children all summer, so we nursed Murphy and his siblings for the first few weeks of his life. Katie brought him home after careful consideration over which kitten to choose. He officially became a family member around the end of August and we all fell deeply in love with him quickly. He is a pig, eating Tostitos the hour we brought him home at 6 weeks old! We are definitely a little crazy for him so he can get away with little things like this....

Mom bought this bag of confetti to decorate a tumbler she gave as a gift tonight. After she used the confetti, she left the opened bag on the table. And this is how we found Mister Murphy in the dining room. I spent fifteen minutes with this handheld vacuum cleaning this up, and I giggled the whole time :P
