If you're reading this, I thank you for staying with me! How bad of me not to blog the entire Thanksgiving break! I'm so sorry.. But let me tell you about the break! Almost every night I stayed up past midnight and almost every morning I slept until at least 10. I stayed in my pajamas several days, enjoyed multiple Thanksgiving-style meals, and drove my new CR-V as much as possible. I even drove (almost) all the way to Starkville (through Jackson!) Today, before I came back to school, my sister and I put up our Christmas tree, and over the break we took pictures for our Christmas cards, designed, and ordered them. I can't wait to see what they look like when they come in! It was a very relaxing, refreshing, bonding-full week. Now I'm just counting down the days until Christmas break!
By the time we got out last week for Thanksgiving, I had gotten pretty tired of the bedding I had been using since I started this school last August. So, I took it home with me and intended to just bring back a cozy blanket and quilt. But, when I was going through the linen closet this afternoon, I was pleasantly reminded of this vintage, precious Chenille bedspread that Mom found at an estate sale almost a decade ago! I resolved to bring it back with me and use it, even though I knew it would look awkward on my twin sized, dorm room bed (as it is a queen sized spread.) Thankfully, I still think it looks adorable and plan to use it until the end of the year, and maybe when I have my own home someday! :)

Isn't it cute? It would look much better on the right sized bed, but I still love it :) |

I would love the know the history of this bedspread..

Also, here is what I think is a cute picture of John and I at my house after a family Thanksgiving he kindly joined us for! We were being silly and my sister took it.. He was laughing :)
